Kim and Rhonda's Adventures

Nineteen of us (9 adults, 9 kids, 1 teen) got together for a fantastic fishing/camping trip over the 4th of July Holiday weekend. Kim and his family were there (Jetti and David) and Rhonda's parents joined the fun. Daniel had to work but Rhonda's daughter Amy and her kids were there; Kevin, Rhonda's cousin, was there with his two boys, since Bonnie had to work, too. Also there were Rhonda's son Bryan and his family.

Some arrived Thursday night and set up camp, the rest got there on Friday morning. Camp was set up at the High View Marina, right on the lake. We had five tents set up, included a huge 10'x20' pavilion for shade and sleeping and we had a great kitchen set-up.

On Friday night, everyone enjoyed a cookout with burgers and brisket and all the trimmings, including fresh, homegrown tomatoes (thanks, Bryan!). With all the contributions for Saturday morning breakfast, we had plenty of breakfast burritos; then, sandwiches and chips for lunch. Saturday night was a FISH FRY. Oh, yeah. That's what I'm talkin' about!
