The trip home was also filled with new adventures. We climbed a volcanic ash hill at Sunset Valley Monument, examined meteorites and other cool stuff at Meteor Crater, and visited the Billy the Kid Gravesite and Museum.

At Fort Sumner, Lincoln County,
New Mexico, we stopped for gas, soda, water, | |

The morning of our final leg home, we were met with a beautiful sunrise. Sort of the perfect ending for a perfect trip. |
